As you may have noticed now, I rarely update my deviant with actual artwork. Instead I periodically throw up a new journal entry about my life and why there is a lack of artwork. Here is one for the summer. For those of you who know me, you know I plan to attend Temple University, Tyler School of Art this coming fall. For those of you who know me even better, you know this probably will not happen anymore. Long story short, they screwed up all the dates for everything and left me without a place to stay, without art classes, without facilities and therefore no reason for me to go to their school. Some of you may be wondering where I have been. Most of you probably haven't (: Truth be told, I've been incurably busy. I've got some pretty sweet (if i do say so myself) artwork to throw up here, including a "live painting", which may or may not end up as a video on youtube as well. Just wanted to say, keep your eyes open and I should be getting some art up here relatively soon. God is good.

Life has been crazy. God's been teaching me that it is by his grace that I'm here, that I can feel joy, excitement, suspense, pain, and longing. To be thankful to be alive. Try it sometime, it's really a breath of fresh air. Either way, gratitude comes from trust, trust from faith, and faith from Christ or the hope that he gives. Mini-rant, but it's what I've found to be true. Thanks for listening, to any of you who did.
